Lesson from class on 2-12-2012
In our class we looked at how and why the Mormon Church accepts changing doctrines in their scriptures. We saw that one of the primary reasons is because of their belief that a prophet in the church can determine new truth even if it contradicts or changes teaching in the past.
We then went on to contrast how the Christian view of God is that his character is immutable. we talked about what that means that he does not change and the peace and assurance it can give us. Click on the image below to download a PDF of the full-size PowerPoint Slides of the class.
